The WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE

Whatever became of The WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE season 3? The registration process to try-out for season 3 ended August 20/07 and was followed by nationwide competitions in September that determined 15 of the 16 3-member teams that were to meet in the televised final in March/08. The final team was supposed to be determined through an online competition held by the World of Pop website, but we're not even certain that that ever happened.

March/08 came and went with no tournament, the WSPC website hasn't been updated with any news since December and VH1 isn't answering emails on the subject. Too bad - VPTV heard good things about the show. RIP
